Abstracts : Thepresent article givesinformation on design of steel and composite coil spring for two-wheelerapplication. The reason to develop the composite coil spring is to minimize the weight of coil spring. In this article, study has been done on a two-wheeler vehicle. Dimensions of the exiting steel coil spring are measured. The load on the spring has been calculated mathematically. Deflection, shear stress, weight and stiffness are calculated using dimensions of existing steel coil spring
